KidzAFlame - Children’s Ministry of Firstlight
Connecting kids to Christ, building them for life. That’s what KidzAFlame is all about!! With a children’s Pastor and a group of committed volunteers, we invite your children to a fun kidschurch that is relevant to them. We serve in partnership with parents in raising a God-fearing generation of children who know and love Jesus, and purposefully walk in His ways. All volunteers hold a working with children card, to ensure that the children under our care truly experience God in a secure environment.Children’s Church on Sundays
SEEDLINGS = Newborns to 3 ½ years have their own room and program with trained volunteers. Mothers of children under 18 months are asked to remain with their child. The children enjoy their music time, story time, plenty of toys and the Mums receive an encouraging word too. Parents are asked to bring a snack for their child.
JUNIOR and UP GROUPS = Children aged 4 to 12 enjoy moving around activity stations consisting of craft, board games, science discovery games and outdoor games.This is followed by action-based worship and Bible based, life application teaching using video clips and live drama. Children spend time in age-appropriate small group activities at the end of the morning, relating to each other and their teacher.
SPECIAL EVENT COMING UP = MOVIE CHURCH: Sunday 12 October, 2008. 10:00 – 11:30 am. A full length children’s feature film shown in auditorium (ECU) with half time for popcorn and juice boxes.
KidzCells on 2nd and 4th Saturday afternoons
An extension of discipleship beyond Sundays where children are further nurtured in their spiritual growth in worship, Bible study and life application, fellowship, prayer, evangelism and assisting KidzAFlame leaders in ministry on Sundays.
